That’s a very nice poster but in some ways I wish it hadn’t referred to a Tombola. Yes I said I would do one and also the Tube game but we don’t have many Tombola prizes so I need to appeal for the donation of prizes. At the moment the Tombola will be a bit of a damp squib.
The tube game is much easier because I buy all the prizes at a cost that guarantees a profit when a tube punter pays £2 to have a go. I would say that a Tombola raises far more money but is dependent upon donations.

If you have anything to donate please either bring it to Fimber on a Wednesday or Saturday or contact me to arrange collection.
