Did you know that the YWR is run entirely by volunteers?

Would you like to get involved with East Yorkshire’s heritage railway?

If you have an interest in anything from making cups of tea, to painting, or track laying to locomotive driving and everything inbetween, then we have a rewarding volunteering opportunity for you!

Experience life in all aspects as a volunteer at the YWR at our taster day at Fimber Halt on Thursday 2nd June from 10-4*. Refreshments available.

Just a note to remind everyone that we will be open every day of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee from 02 June - 05 June from 10-4.

Thursday 2 June will be our Volunteer Taster Day and will be a great way of experiencing life in all aspects as a volunteer at the YWR!
