Wow!!! Look how far the YWR has come.
Thanks to all involved in making this happen and who keep on making YWR a superb place to volunteer and visit.

There’s a video taken on that day, plus one of the first day - 6th October 2012?
I don’t think they’ll post on here though.

Re: Can You Remember ?
It is exactly 10 years today that we first started work on our Fimber site; 6th October 2012.
Like any project, we've had our 'ups & downs', but overall what great things we have achieved together
If the next 10 years are as productive, the Yorkshire Wolds Railway will continue to grow into a truly great visitor destination!
Just as examples, we will be improving the attraction over the next few years & beyond with at least the following:
Brakevan rides
New loco - 'Patricia'
Sprotbrough Signal Box

Also:
'Field 2' development - extra site width & huge events area
'Field 3' development - pressing on towards Green Lane
Rolling stock / public space
If you can't get down to Fimber on one of the remaining Sundays this month, please put a date in your diary for visiting next season!
We'll be open from Easter to October on Sundays & Bank Holidays.
