Re: Work in Progress
Reference the caravan: The ceiling came off quite easily and the walls are a pain in the bum as the inner wood is stuck adhered to the caravan outer skin on the inside. To a type of insulation which I’m unsure the correct name for it, it there fore needs scraping chiselling of but makes a lot of mess.
There was a lot of remains of the mice / rats e.g nests as they have now been well and truly evicted! When I moved one of the old Mark 1 seats im sure I saw a rats running out of the seat! I think we all agreee that when the caravan goes and we might possibly put a van body in it’s place it will be better than a eyesore ? And much more smarter site

Re: Work in Progress
Now then Chris! You did a grand job on Saturday. The white insulation is called polystyrene and your right-it’s a pain. I don’t think we should try to scrape it off because it crumbles and causes an incredible mess. Instead if we cut the outer skin off and then put the panel over a fire it will come away. You must be careful not to breathe in the fumes.
