Flying Scotsman at NYMR

Had a wonderful day at Pickering watching the Flying Scotsman on Sun 13 March 2016 at the station.
Saw it twice, once at 10.30 and again at 14.00 Wow never seen so many people in the station building it really was heaving,
people climbing anything and everything to get a better view. Witnessed an amazing moment when two long suffering railway wife`s turned to their other halves, just after it had rolled by us, red hot and seeping steam out, and said " Oh, Now we understand it! We see what all the fuss is about! "

I watched it come into York. Just superb!
