It hauled passenger trains

It is a 4-8-4 Diesel Mechanical designed by H G Ivatt for the LMSR with four engines of 500 hp 12 cylinder transmission, with differential drive and fluid couplings. Weight 120 tons and 4' 3'' driving wheels. T E : 25,000 lb.

Perhaps now is the time to forget about things we would like and concentrate more on things that we need, which would benefit the Railway.
