Memorial ride for Dave Myers

Reading the information there are going to be a lot of motorcycles on this memorial ride I think passing us on the B1248 on Sunday 7th April. Hopefully it won’t impact on us.

The riders will be passing at about 11am.
I for one will be heading to Fimber to watch them pass. It will sure to be a great event.

I know it says that the riders have been informed not stop, but Im pretty sure a handfull of riders will be more than happy to pop in for a brew. The picnic area will be heaving!

You will be there for a long time. I expect it will take an and half for them all to pass. It'll be fantastic!

Just to emphasize to the general public. The Yorkshire Wolds Railway will be open as usual on Sunday, so please pop in if you would like a cup of tea or a Brakevan ride.

Fabulous to see the thousands of motorcyclists on the Dave Myers memorial ride this morning going past Fimber Halt. Lasted about 25 minutes and our arms were aching from all the waving!

There was literally loads of bikers on the aA169 whitby road I’ve never seen so many of them! Lots of people cheering and waving at them
