Saturday 2nd December
May I respectfully request all YWR directors and volunteers park their vehicles in the area beyond the Fimber Halt garden on Saturday so we leave the car park free for all of our visitors. Thanks.

Re: Saturday 2nd December
Thanks to everyone who turned out to help today. It was gratifying to see that our call for help had such a fantastic response. I am so grateful. We had a steady flow of visitors and I think 14 trees sold and 24 children saw Santa. Over £500 cash plus several card payments too. A special thanks to our two Santas today Alan and Phil you were both really in character. I loved it! Now looking forward to next Saturday!

Well done to Celia and Margaret for making this event a success , and not forgetting all the other helpers to.
I had to laugh at Alan in his Santa clothes . I hope you gave home a mince pie and a drink ? As the weather wasn’t very warm .

What a superb day!
Thank you to all those who put this together & then volunteered on the day. Snow on the ground, but sunny & crisp. Apart from the frozen water, it couldn't have been better.
The childrens' (& adults') faces that I saw, said it all

Re: Saturday 2nd December
What fascinated me was the names some of the children had. From classical ’Portia’ to ones I’ve never heard before, it fascinating to hear their names. Parents today are being very creative with their children’s names.
I think we had more than 24. I lost count after twenty but they just kept coming. We nearly missed the last two who were in the Mk2 when I went strolling past to get changed and had to do a quick return to the grotto, which, by the way, was fabulous. Well done to Celia and Margaret.
