Reighton Village Craft Fair

Post by Reightonman »

The annual craft fair in Reighton will take place on Saturday 11th November from 10.00am until 2.00pm in the Village Hall.

The fair brings together a number of craft workers who display and sell their products. This year there will be an additional stall representing the Yorkshire Wolds Railway. A small number of items will be for sale and information about the railway will be available.
Drinks and light lunches will be available during the day.

Reighton Village Hall is located on St Helen's Lane at the bottom end of the village (Filey end).

The postcode is YO14 9SB. What three words: important.clearing.draw

The Craft Fair was a great success. There was a lot of interest in the YWR stall. Quite a few leaflets were taken and including a couple of pre day sales we took £126.00

Wow. Well done, I would never had thought you would have taken that much, but nevertheless very pleased with it.

This is very good John, can you tell us what you sold to raise so much money? This would help when considering attending other such shows.

Sorry for the delay in replying.
We sold a number of wooden items (plates, bowls, candle holders). One children's bag and one book about the railway. On the day we sold one calendar and since then another has been sold. The total now stands at £132.
Hope this is helpful.
