So here is a question from another forum.
Where in the UK can you travel on LNER rolling stock on the main line and it isn't owned or run by a preservation society ?

Full marks ! The 1938 tube stock which is to be phased out this month is apparently plated "Property Of The LNER". I did have a ride in 1983 on the really old 1920s tube stock and that was amazing.

Yes, & I don't know whether these companies actually own that strip of land :shock: Probably not an issue in my lifetime!
