Today we received a donation of a rather different kind to the usual donations. Patricia arrived! A new volunteer? Well not really.
Patricia is an 060 diesel shunter! A mate for Eddie? Perhaps we shall have to keep them apart or we may be overrun will little locos
I can't tell you anything else about her but I'm sure my post will be added to with lots of info.
Here are a few photos.

Re: Patrica arrives.
Nice donation.
I assume this is a non-runner
Found a great photo here https://www.flickr.com/photos/12a_kingm ... otostream/ that was taken in 1970
Is the aim to get it back to this condition?

From what we know.
The loco was parked in shed and didn't come out till yesterday,
I would hope that we are going to get her back looking like that in photo

Re: Patrica arrives.
Talking to someone who knows this loco when we picked it up he knew of the person who used to run the engine every month, it apparently was running up to 2012 and parked in an engine shed which has saved it really, this is a non runner at present obviously until it has been thoroughly checked out, but the intention is to get it back into running order with a new paint job and new/second hand? parts as required.

Great job !
And a big thanks to all involved, it took a few years but you got there in the end.
And she's pointing the right way!
