Signage in Driffield

Post by Rail Rover »

Mark Blakeston has been busy with the redesign of the Driffield area tourist maps & this one is located in the seating area near the railway station:

And here's a close up:

I understand that the one in Market Place will be the same when it gets re-instated :D.

Many thanks Mark!

Excellent work well done Mark Blaketon can I please ask is this sign to do with the local council In Driffield.
They’ve got a similar sign on the railway at Malton railway station ( I’m guessing it Ryedale district council).with every other tourist attraction place to visit But nothing to do with the Yorkshire wolds railway! I find that a bit frustrating and annoying to say the least.
At the end of the day it’s al about public awareness getting our railway known a lot more. It saying this to get it on a tourist sign on Driffield station is a brilliant result.

We need to get in touch with the councils or whoever deals with this sort of thing in Malton to get. Our railway on the tourist map sign outside the railway station in the car park area!
