Model Railway Exhibition - 16 March 2019

It is with much excitement we can announce that our 2019 model railway exhibition will take place on Saturday 16 March 2019 from 10-4 at Wetwang Community Hall.

Featuring many local layouts, trade stands, raffle, tombola and refreshments.

We have been working hard behind the scenes to build on the success of last year and look forward to welcoming visitors of all ages to this event!

Entry is £2 for adults and £1 for children.

Just wow! Congratulations to Katy and all who helped. We popped in during the morning to find a very busy village hall.

Yeah sure was 348 Visitors to be precise and lots of food sold and quite a bit of money raised. A good event all round, well done everyone!

Yes the event seemed to be very well attended which is great, hopefully it’s raised the profile of the railway & raised much needed funds.

Our DVLR stand went down well with visitors, so many thanks to the YWR for having us at the event.

Hi everyone

Lets just say a big thank you to all Exhibitors and trade stand holders who were at Wetwang village hall at 8am on a Saturday morning in March IN THE RAIN. As I think you will all agree the day was a big success which is down to all of you, I thought the local layouts which you all tinker with in your spare time where fantastic.

The people who turned up in the rain cos that's what the weather did all day just to have a look and cup of tea Thanks for your support.

Fantastic day and a great event, there is definitely scope to expand this and aim to make it part of the model rail show calendar.
