Newbie
Just a quick note to say hi to everyone, I've just joined the YWR as a paid up member. I've been interested in the railways and railway history for years. I'm hoping to get over to the site soon and do a bit of volunteering

Re: Newbie
Welcome to YWR pop along to site and come say hello. When you have your members card bring it along for a members ride on the loco on a Sunday.
Or pop down on a Saturday and see what the work party's are up to.
We're always looking for volunteers to help out on work party's and running days if you are able to help out or have the odd loose end day. It's a great social atmosphere on site, and always plenty of jobs to do from the heavy, lifting rail through to the light jobs gardening and grass cutting.
Hope to see you on site soon.

The rage for railroad is so great that many will be laid in parts where they will not pay. George Stephenson.
Get me the rail and I will get you too green lane within two years. Maddog
