Looking at the horitcultural side of things, here are two or three pics of the plant bed looking fabulous in full bloom and complementing the signal post and excellent welcome signage for visitors.

Our garden has been taken over by Mos and Heather! Not the plants but a lovely couple who have done a magnificent job. They found the missing letter so yes we have a full sign. The 'B' is a bit ropey because I made it to replace the one which blew away!
Well done Mos and Heather!

Work on VB3 is progressing but it seems every time we move forward we also take a step back. We have been dogged by problems to the point at which we felt the van was jinxed! The latest hit up was down to paint and primer and the two we bought (separately by two different people) being incompatible! Well on Wednesday this week we finally made some significant progress.
The shelving was modified and some of it placed in position and a lot of the BT box stuff transferred. Sorry, no pics of that.
We clad the outside ends in sheet metal as per the workshop van and a start was made on applying some new 'hybrid' primer to solve the incompatibility problem.
The 'front door' was repaired, Andy straightened the hinge and Brian and Capt Al (relatively new volunteer) replaced some rotten wood.

I should have taken more photos but there's work to be done you know!
Andy attends to the hinge and the sheet metal is prepared for fitting

Looking at the northern end of the site, I came across this pic that I took in August when mowing grass and got caught in a rain shower!

Also of late the hedge alongside the footpath from the council picnic site has been receiving a good haircut to remove two and a half years of growth.

As well as looking smarter, passing motorists can now see our semaphore signal post clearly and know that the railway is there to visit.

Van body 3 has had a good deal of work done recently both indoors and out. The shelving has been organised and tools and materials are in the process of being transferred from the overcrowded workshop and BT van.

The outside painting is progressing well and with kind weather should be completed in the next couple of weeks. The great success story this week is that the roof has been replaced with smart plastic coated metal sheeting and the van is now looking very well indeed.
