The edge of the ballast has been raked this afternoon to tidy it up and give a consistent tidy line from end to end.

N.B. Just a quick note to say that as of Wednesday 20th August all track ballasting work has now been completed - good for 125mph! :D

Considering that we have not had the benefit of mechanized tracklaying machinery, volunteers have produced a mighty fine piece of well manicured railway!
