Did you know the YWR is run entirely by volunteers, and that we are always looking for people to help with all aspects of running East Yorkshire's Heritage Railway?
We currently have a vacancy on our board for a Health and Safety director. The role will include:
Preparing Risk Assessments & method statements
Training of staff on health and safety matters
Keeping the SMS updated
The successful candidate will be computer literate and have experience of operational safety under ORR and HRA guidelines.
We also have a need for someone to assist with the:
Maintenance and Repair of locomotives and rolling stock
This role includes:
Maintenance and repair of rolling stock and maintenance and repair of diesel locomotives
The successful candidate(s) will have previous heritage or mainline railway experience.
