Hi Guys
I have been doing some digging and have found that 95% of manure sidings had some sort of loading platform so tip carts could load and was often loaded into 10 tonne open wagons. even tho this is not shown on the church lane crossing.

Church Lane is by the industrial estate but also called locally Mucky Dick or Mucky Duck - I would think most people in the area if you asked them wouldn't know where Church Lane was.

Kelleythorpe siding as it was known is shown as thus in the 1895 NER Collieries, Works and Sidings book.
Re: Church Lane Crossing Kellythorpe
Looking at Google Earth, at the crossing now it shows a public footpath.
Does this walk along the old track bed and also do you cross the main Driffield bypass and continue to walk to the show ground.
