St Crux fund raising Wednesday 6th September

Post by ianc » Sat Sep 02, 2017 10:22 am

All members,

St. Crux Fundraising is round again!

We will be running a bric-a-brac stall and cafe at St Crux in York (the church at the bottom of The Shambles, next door to Marks and Spencers) to raise valuable funds, next Wednesday 6th September. We already have a small team of volunteers to run the event. However, if you are a member and fancy giving this a little go then please come along, give us a helping hand and see what its all about.

Whether you can be there for an hour or two, half a day, or a whole day, we really appreciate it - we know you're all busy people and every bit of help is valuable.

Our first volunteers will be arriving with the bric-a-brac by 8.00am (always useful for someone to be around to receive the goods). Then set-up takes place for a start at 10.00am. End of day and pack-up at about 4pm.

If you are thinking of coming or need any further info, just post a reply here if you can or speak to a board member on site at Fimber.

We typically raise £600-£700 so it's a great contribution to the funds.

So, please, if you can give some of your time, do come along and help us.

If you've not been before, why not come along? the more the merrier and the more relaxed the day is for everyone - there's help needed in the kitchen and staffing the stalls outside - if you would like some more information, do get in touch.

We hope to see you there
Ian Coulson
