Hello
As you may already know, we make a lot of effort to keep the site tidy. This includes cutting the grass on the verge, along the footpath, and along the fence. Believe it or not, this now amounts to around 7 miles of walking which is now sadly getting a bit much for our 17" self propelled mower.
With that in mind, we are putting a plea out to see if anyone (or someone you know!) has a larger mower they no longer need that they would be willing to donate. It needs to be petrol, self propelled, and 4 wheels (no roller), and of the rotary type.
A ride on would be perfect!
Thanks in advance!

Re: Lawnmower
Does anyone know how to tighten the drive belt on our existing lawn mower as it has got rather slack?

Re: Lawnmower
There should be a bolt to tighten on the rear which will pull the gearbox away and also make everything tighter. Where exactly it is though, I am not sure.....

Re: Lawnmower
The axle on the mower has now snapped and the wheel dropped off, meaning we are now even more keen to source a replacement!
If anyone knows of one - ideally a ride-on please get in touch!

I can lend you a few horses if you like but they're fussier than sheep or goats so they won't do such a good job!
