Warwick Burton

It is with much regret I let you know that Warwick Burton has sadly passed away.

Warwick was instrumental in the early years in allow me to spend time at his home scanning his entire M&D photo and documentation collection and giving me countless contacts - the majority of which have proved very worthwhile.

In addition his book, The Malton and Driffield Junction Railway is still classed as the definitive guide to the railway, and was on a personal note one of the major reasons for me becoming involved in the project in the first place.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends. He will be missed.
