Grand Opening!

Post by 4008 »

It is with much excitement we can now announce that our GRAND OPENING will take place on Sunday 24 May and Monday 25 May 2015 from 10am.

An opening ceremony will take place on Monday 25 May 2015 at 11am, and everyone is welcome to attend either or both days!

Entrance to the site is free, but donations are welcomed.

These days will make a milestone achievement in our brief 7 year history and will pave the way for our phase 2 plans.

You can read more and download a poster to please publicise the event below:

Congratulations to everyone involved!! Major step forward and hope everything is fine for this weekend. I hope the public of East Yorkshire gets behind this project and the railway is rebuilt in this beautiful part of Yorkshire. I hope to visit soon

Brilliant event!
What a wonderful idea to name the loco "Sir Tatton Sykes". Im think he was quite emotional. What a test for the railway, it was really busy.
Onwards and upwards.

Plenty of activity with a full car park, a good crowd and lots of trips in the loco cab!
