Skipper really made the sparks fly at Fimber Halt today. He was using a special cutting tool to trim the rail to length. The track is progressing to its current limit before field two can be prepared.

The finished result is a neat and square end to the rail.

After the trimming another special tool is used to drill the holes for the fishplate bolts.

Had a good day on P way today we now have enough rail cut and drilled to get the running line back to the field gate.
