Work commenced on drilling the holes in the new angle irons to be fitted to the bottom of van body 3 yesterday. When they are fitted we joiners can proceed with fitting new timbers to the sides followed by the floor.

Lots done today thanks to the brilliant warm weather, the 2 steel lower end rails were painted and fitted to van body 3 by me and Dave, all the concrete signal posts were moved and stacked on a pallet, all the signal rods were moved to another location and all the pallets moved and stacked by Skipper and Grahame, the platform gates were finaly finished off with creosote, Malcom is doing a stirling job along the pathway and John carried out some weed killing, Ian did some more coach painting. All in all a very productive day.
