Re: What would YOU like to see on our railway?

Paul Middleton ,( Piglets) steam locomotive “ lucie” any day that should attract more people to our railway. Than a horrible pacer, and let’s be quite totally honest, it’s only a few people who actually want the pacer. As members aren’t daft nor stupid to notice realise this! As a very generous per...

Re: 2020 Public Opening

I seriously can’t believe what John wrote we might not be able to open this season. What a bizarre crazy response? If we all take this negative attitude then we’ll never achieve much at all. We all need to stay positive and focused on making the railway a success . But inevitably times will be hard...

Re: It's not all Units!

I don’t know how you get so lucky Tom. I can understand a few years ago why it would stand under the roof in case the driver had to go to the signal box, but in this day and age there is nothing to stop the train going up to the signal which is well outside the station. I must've been lucky Graham!...

Re: It's not all Units!

Although this topic is not meant to be about units... It's a fairly rare occurrence for a class 142/144 to make it north of Beverley nowadays on the Wolds Coast, the attached photo sees 142063 at Bridlington awaiting to work 2W28 to Hull.

Bouncing onto the YWR soon... hopefully! ;) :D
